Im new!

So, im new here. I feel there is so much going on and no one really knows whats new with us. In the end of Feb. we started looking for a house, so that by the time we got married-we wouldnt be homeless. In May/June we put offers in on 2 houses, both failed after waiting 2 weeks to hear on them. So, in mid-June we put an offer in on one in St. Francis, even though we dont really want to live there, it was the perfect starter home. Built in 1999, unfinished basement, 3 bedrooms up, and fenced in back yard for a reasonable price, we couldnt say no. A week later, they accepted our offer...and set the closing date for August 7. We were told "no problem, by mid July you could close",ive learned that Banks move slower than a turtle at stand still. Ridiculous. Our mortgage company asks for more documents every day. We give it to them promptly. Anyway, for 2 weeks now we have been waiting for them to re-fax over the P.A. cuz they couldnt read it. UGH! So we are at a stand-still until that gets there.

Justin asked me to marry him on May 4, 2008 around 2pm. It was the greatest day of my whole life. Our wedding is set for October 11, 2008. I am one who hates procastinating. So the very next day, i had a church, a reception, the bridal party picked out, we set the date, and set up an appt to go check out the hall. Now we still need reception centerpieces, stamps, isle runner, and some few odds and ends, oh and flowers and bows for the church. Other than that, we are in pretty good shape. My sis is the MOH and she has been SO WONDERFUL! so helpful with everything.

I became the Parts Manager at work, got 2 raises in the last month. Justin got a nice raise at his job also. I think we are doing pretty good. Everything has been looking up la
tely, now if we can just close on this house.

We reserved an Olde English bulldog puppy last week, he arrives at our doorstep on August 21! We cannot even wait!!
He will be 8 weeks old when we get him! He will come to work with me everyday
until he is a couple months old.
